Escape 2042 is a fast-paced futuristic puzzle-platformer first made for the Game Boy and the Sega Genesis, later ported to GBA, PC, Atari STe and Dreamcast. Players dodge security cameras, throw grenades at enemies and hack prison computers to unlock doors across prison, desert and forest stages, broken up by two mini-games including a reversed shoot-'em-up and a rappelling game.
