HopBound

HopBound is a story-driven psychological horror game that follows Mayumi, a recluse who journeys through an unsettling retro game to come to terms with the ghosts of her past. It alternates 16-bit-style horror platformer stages with endless runner levels, using a palette of only four colours to evoke 90s handheld games. It continues the story of DERE EVIL .EXE two years later but can be played without it.
