SKELOST

SKELOST is a yokai shooter built to run on original Game Boy Color hardware, made by Casey Atkins and Robert Doman with GB Studio. In search of a lost family, the player descends into a forgotten well and finds a haunting retro world inspired by Japanese folklore, where restless yokai roam. It blends side-scrolling shooter action with a compact 8-bit design for a single-player session of about half an hour.
